You can use shape editing tools to manipulate the surface of a flat (non-sloped) floor or roof by defining high and low points for drainage. Several tools are available to manipulate, modify, and manage the way elements display in the drawing area. Several methods are available for copying one or more selected elements. Use the Trim and Extend tools to trim or extend one or more elements to a boundary defined by the same element type. To modify multiple elements simultaneously, use shape handles or the Scale tool. You can use ribbon options, keyboard actions, and on-screen element controls to move elements in the drawing area, either independently or in association with other elements. The Array tool creates a linear or radial array of selected elements. You can group elements in a project or family and then place that group many times in a project or family. You can repeat the command that was last used, or select from a list of recently used commands. There are several methods to exit an action that you have already started.
After reinstating the actions, the current tool continues. The Redo tool reinstates all actions canceled by Undo. Use the Undo tool to cancel the most recent action or a series of recent actions.
Many of the controls and tools that you use to modify an element in the drawing area are only available when an element is selected.
